Corvettes of Southern California (CSC) was founded in 1956 and incorporated in the State of California in 1957 as a non-profit 510c(3) organization. We believe that "CSC" is the second oldest Corvette club in the nation. Our current membership is just over 100 members.
CSC is a social club with our main goal is the enjoyment of owning and driving America's sports car, the Corvette. Our members have all generations of Corvettes from C1s-C8s We believe in driving our cars and not just looking at them or showing them off. We participate in local car shows as well as car shows across the state and the country. Over the years we have traveled across the U.S. and to Canada to participate in car shows and events. Driving your Corvette is a great way to see the USA! In recent years CSC has traveled to events in Arizona, Oregon, South Dakota, Idaho, Pennsylvania, Kentucky and Whistler, Canada just to name a few.
Some of the social events include cruises to museums, Presidential libraries, car collections, and of course car museums. Our club members host events such as miniature golf tournaments, club picnics, our annual "ugly sweater" Christmas party and many more. Our premier event is our annual trip to Cambria for our Cambria getaway weekend. CSC has been doing that event for over 50 years. We strive to have at least two local events each month and one on the road again (OTRA) each year. We are always looking for reasons to drive our Corvettes.
Also, each fall our club puts on a Corvette and All-American Car Show to raise money for American Legion Post 555, Midway City, California. This past year we raised over $6,900 dollars in support of our veterans. Post 555 also just happens to be our monthly meeting place. Each month on the 4th Thursday of the month we have our general membership meeting. However, check the CSC calendar for the months of November and December as those meetings are flexible.
CSC welcomes all Corvette owners and their significant others to come and join us at our general membership meetings. The best part of our club is the comradery and friendships many of us have fostered. We hope to see you soon at one of our general membership meeting!
